When you have cursor tracking issues like this one, you have to turn off cursor tracking (vo-f3) then the vo cursor will go where you tell it to w/o the main cursor causing it to jump around. This isn't something I'd expect apple care to know about, since very few of their technicians are actually familiar with the vo product itself. Generally, this happens because of page refresh code built-in to the pages you're viewing, though sometimes it happens for no reason at all that I can figure out. However, turning off cursor tracking will allow you to move around until you get onto another page, then you can turn it back on again.
