Are you saying turning the phone off and back on should resolve the problem
more or less permanently. It hasn't in my case as far as I know but I just use
the workaround I posted so I don't usually consider it a problem, at least not
enough to search for other solutions. But I know it could be annoying or really
a problem for people. I'd be interested to know if turning the phone off and on
does solve this for people who have the problem; if so, I may consider doing
this the next time it happens.
Thanks.

On a fairly regular basis the audio playback on my iPhone, music book or
podcast, doesn't come back up after audio ducking for VoiceOver. If I get a
notification, like a text message, the audio comes back to full volume.
Anyone else experience this or have any thoughts?
