I am getting full stereo from VOiceOver, just Skype and the monitoring in the
right channel when I press record.

1. Is the headphone jack plugged in fully ? This won’t apply if it is usb.
2. Have you selected mono somewhere in the settings ?
3. Are you getting full stereo from VO in the headphones while the Skype
output is only in the right channel ?
