Yeah, but it is in documents, calling itself an image though it can be
opened, and it won't select for some reason.

Under the File menu there is the item to 'add Attachments, click on this and
a window opens in which you indicate where the attachment is located then
once you have completed this you click 'choose file' and it is added to your
message.
But I also like John's method, very quick.
