Good morning Ben and all:
Yeah, I intend to check out the malwarebytes vpn … not because I am a fanboy
but because they send out a newsletter and the most recent topic was VPNs …
generated a little controversy … what? in the tech world… lol … so wanting to
see what all the fussing and shouting is about … lol
Thank you for the surf shock suggestion. will look into that. if I might ask …
do you believe that the cause of your warmth and loudness issues with the MBP
and surf shock are spec related to your machine or just those vagaries when
machine meets software :).
Now I have this mental image of spinning a wheel … unlabeled buttons green …
unlabeled images blue … thanks … lol … my nieces would love this idea …
Take good care and and I wish you enough.

Hi Patrick
Glad I had a genius strike for once LOL
I was wondering about the VPN. I read a review which found the client lacking
in features and not so very fast as it should be, according to Malwarebytes.
But this could be different today.
Speaking of VPN, Surfshark is pretty accessible so far. I had it on the MBP a
couple of weeks, but I removed it again because it makes the laptop running
hot and noisy. I use it only on my windows computer. The price plans are
quite attractive and I’m happy so far.
But seriously, accessibility twister sounds like a promising game for app
developers ;-)
All the best
Ben

Hello Ben and all:
Good catch. if I was thinking I would have included that article myself.
While your post about trying many programs and finding a great degree of
want was spot on … I really was pleasantly surprised by malwarebytes … it
tipped the scales for me a bit because some features that I struggled with
in other applications were finally not only accessible but easy to use with
their accessibility. one feature in particular … the ability to view past
scans and their results as far back as one would want without playing
accessibility twister :).
Now to find out if their VPN client is any good :).
Take good care and I wish you enough.

We all can still learn. Malwarebytes actually is an antivirus program as
well. I just read this article and it was very informative and helpful

So, I’d say, good news indeed.

Malwarebytes scans for malware of some kinds, but its not an
antivirus, it does not do any kind of active protection that I know of
and I don't think it scans for the same type of malware as antivirus
programs do, but there may be a fine line on that, these days.

Good evening everyone:
If it is not an antivirus software… Then what is it?
If you are referring to it being a VPN client… That is one thing that it
does…
They have an antivirus product… It’s on my machine and has removed
outerwear and Trojans…
I hope this information proves useful… Please let us know
That is the news and it is good

Good afternoon Suzanne:
I have become a real fan of Malwarebytes.
I find it quite accessible… It was actually recommended to me by an
Apple representative when I was having some difficulty with my mail
application.
It is quite affordable… Depending on what your needs are… If you are
doing a single machine for example… I believe the cost is about $12 for
the year…
You can customize it to your liking…
I really enjoy it…
Please let me know if this information proves of use to you
Take good care and I wish you enough

Hello,
What is the most accessible anti-virus software for the Mac? My
employer would like me to use anti-virus software, as they would like
everyone to install one on their computers.
Thanks.
Best Wishes,
