Hey Daniela! The Alphatrack by Frontier is a little midi control surface or
in a very simple term a very small mixer. It's made to control the grafical
audio or midi channels and its parameters like effects of programs like
garageband, protools, sonar and so on. This is very comfortable because
instead of working with a mouse or key commands to make a audio signal like
music louder or more silent you just pull a fader on the alphatrack up or
down. It's hands on control in a physical way.
