Shane Et al, I was so glad you shared your experience with the Command versus the Alt key. I made a similar mistake with one of my students and when she came back the next day, I was so embarassed, I had to rethink my teaching strategy. Fortunately, she abandoned Windows completely, so it didn't bother her that much, as had I. And speaking of group mode versus DOM, I find that when I go to a site such as mlb.com, I always use Group Mode because it is easier for me to just get to the game I want to hear; however, there are some sites where DOM mode is easier--not many, any more, but a few. A friend of my wife's, for example, has a website which dies not group their subject matter, so I have to switch to DOM mode, just to navigate the site. I didn't think the audio was that bad; in fact, I heard all three of you very well. Thanks for sharing this bit of information with us, and I look forward to Lew's podcast on Logic and other recording and sound- editing software. Take care. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.

Nice. I know some people that need to hear this, mainly the higher-ups in our AT department who slam me because I use a Mac. Did you use Hijack or Amadeus? I ask because I want one that will do everything, and if Amadeus doesn't record Skype calls. Well, let's just say I'll be spending more money than I should be spending on Hijack, Fision, and Amadeus. $90. As a guy with no income except from borrowed money, that's ridiculous. Although I could buy Cacophony for cheaper, and it seems to work great. Everybody go check it out at http://www.bannister.org. Click on Software, then Cacophony. Today, Dennis Bartlett, LewisBrock, and I participated in a Skype podcast concerning switching to the Mac from Windows. We also get off on some other subjects, and it is a neat podcast. Note that my audio is a little lower than the other two guys, and that is my fault.
