Hi George, I haven't done this in a while, but if my dim memory serves me properly, I think you have to interact with the time line and select the specific date and time. The thing is, I don't know if you can restore specific applications. I usually go back using the Finder and viewing the folders of past backups to simply copy and paste items if needed.
