[mac4theblind] quick time and screen recording issues

Hello to all. When you start a screen recording there is a dialogue that shows
you how to stop the vid. voice over dings and I cannot seem to get rid of the
thing with out doing some odd things like control clicking and hitting escape
and even then I can barely start the recording. Is there a fix when I do screen
recordings with os lion and quick time standard?
