[mac4theblind] more mail questions

Hi.
I'm trying to get more used to mail. One question I have at the moment is, does
anybody have my problem where sometimes when closing a message, I find myself
back at the top, or the bottom, seemingly at random, of the message list,
instead of somewhere in the middle where the message I just deleted while open
was? I just open a thread of messages, listen to one, backspace, listen to
another one, backspace. Seems that when I delete the last one in the thread and
wind up back in my message list I might not be anywhere near where I was when I
opened up that thread so I have to arrow down or possibly up to get to it. With
200 items in my inbox alone not counting collapsed threads that could be a
slight inconvenience to say the last lol. Any idea how to get around that?
