Yes, I am leaning that way the Mac book pro 13 inch. What kind of mixer do
you have? Like brand name and model number? How accessible is it?

I have a macbook pro 13 inch. I like this model but it only has 1 jack for
both recording and headphones but I have a mixer so I don't have to worry
about anything else.
