It is a terminal program.
I usually hit command-space and type terminal
Then it is called by " pandoc input.txt -o output.epub " It will by default
save to whatever address is in the terminal.

In my opinion calibre isn't fine to work. It is too big and too complicated
tool to perform so simple task as converting files.
