Ok, just tried this with the device hooked to a electric outlet not even in the same room and it did just fine and as soon as I unplug it from the power source the sync now button was dim. So it is not a Wi-Fi connection loss. It is not a iTunes connection loss either. Except when not hooked to a power source. So I think it is these old devices just not compatible with the new IOS5 totally and this iTunes Wi-Fi sync. Now some with older device is not having this problem but that is just a few. From most of my research the ones with older device like iphone3gs and ipad1 and the older iPod touch are having this problem. This problem does not or virtual don't exist on the iphone4 and iphone4s. Ok, I give up. This is just not working for me. Aim going back to the old way! It works for me. Now there in my research I have found out the one that are having this problem and there is a lot of them is using the iphone3gs, Ipad1 and older iPod touch That is not coming out with IOS5 on them. So I think it is a device thing. I have not heard of the first iphone4 or iphone4s having this problem. So will revisit it when I get my iphone4s! I think it is something to do with the older devices and iTunes and Wi-Fi. I think the older devices is in the iTunes Wi-Fisync only is losing connection with Wi-Fi and iTunes being connected. It has to do with the check box in iTunes for iTunes Wi-Fi sync is not taking and there forth not working properly. Now this being said I have not tried it with a power source other than my USB port on my PC yet and going to see if it would work with just using a power source like a power outlet. If this don't work then I really will lean to it is the device being too old. JMT Bubba bubbathegeek@xxxxxxxxx ************ You are subscribed to the mac4theblind mailing list.
