Dear MAASE Members, Happy Friday! Here are your latest "News & Notes" from MAASE: • Attached please find the 3 Day General Membership Meeting Agenda for June. It's not to late to register at <http://www.maase.org/Event.php?id=67>. • Attached is the updated MAASE Activity Calendar for 2009-2011. This will go up on the MAASE website in the very near future. • Your membership ends June 30! Don't forget to rejoin MAASE for 2009-10. Join at <http://www.maase.org/Membership.php>. • While you're at it you might as well register for Summer Institute at the same membership rate as last year. The program is shaping up with over 30 breakouts to choose from. Also, consider bringing your up-and-coming Special Education Leaders. Many members do! • The Office of Educational Assessment and Accountability (OEAA) is seeking your input on a proposed document entitled, “Assessment Integrity Guide” (attached as a PDF). It is proposed that this guide replace the current “Professional Assessment & Accountability Practices for Educators” document which discusses in detail what schools and students must do--- and must not do--- when administering or taking an assessment. The new “Assessment Integrity Guide” updates and clarifies testing practices. If you wish to comment on this proposed document, please respond by June 30, 2009.
