MAASE Announcement IDEA Reauthorization Survey

The MAASE Finance & Legislation Committee needs your help NOW!
IDEA Reauthorization is likely to begin after the presidential election when
Congress opens in January, 2008. In order to do timely preparation, the MAASE
Legislative and Finance Committee is seeking specific input related to changes
in IDEA statute language. Our intent is:
1. Timely and organized information to Congressional representatives
2. Benefit to the education of children with disabilities and assisting
districts in delivering special education services.
As a special education administrator, please take a moment to identify areas of
IDEA statute language that you believe needs attention during the next re-write
process. Your input makes a difference!
