Thanks for the address. Unfortunately, my house was destroyed today
along with the remaining thank you cards. So, hopefully you still
have a few left and can send it. Thank goodness, I wrote the other
cards out over the weekend and mailed them on my way to the office
this morning.

I got to work at 6:30, trying to make up some lost time. I received a
panicked call from Chris about 8:30 advising that the house was on
fire. Thank god a guy was coming home from work and noticed a fire on
the back patio. He went to the front door and pounded on the door for
about five minutes and finally woke Chris up. Chris was able to get
himself and all three dogs out before the fire was too bad. I will
send pics when I get them. We are all fine and currently staying at
an extended stay suite hotel close to the house. The fire abatement
company that the City of aurora called to board up all the windows,
etc. advised that it is a total gut - all will be trashed down to the
framing and rebuilt. The insurance adjuster also advised that the
house was built during the era of asbestos so they were planning to do
an assessment of the asbestos in the house. If there is asbestos,
nothing is salvagable except for non-porous items. So, we will be in
extended stay for two nights and then they will arrange for us to rent
either a townhome or a house for approx 6 months to a year maximum
while we wait to get the house rebuilt.

Happy St. Pat's day!!
