Oh right, it seems to be the last commit (4b0af61) which broke it.

Reverting to 373fdd works (missed that earlier as I was ignoring any ARM 
related changes).

As for where it crashes, gdb tells me:

Program received signal EXC_BAD_ACCESS, Could not access memory.
Reason: 13 at address: 0x0000000000000000
0x0000000100042cb3 in luaL_checkstack ()
