Just letting you all know that I haven't abandoned the Video Spot Creator
computer program I've been developing. It seems it's ended up being a bit
more challenging than I originally thought! I'm also having to rework a
major part of the code to eliminate some potential compatibility problems.
Video Spot Creator will be FREE for whoever wants to put it to use. You can
knock out quick 30-second or 1-minute community announcements and real
estate / still screen ads with voiceovers and music beds - without any
editing software. Spots can be encoded into MPEG-2 or H.264 formats.

Also, I've been asked if there's a way to put together basic news with this.
While this wouldn't be for actual video footage, you could type out a short
news story and have it turned into a voiceover. You could put a headline on
screen or photos associate with the story.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions about how this should be implemented,
I'd like to hear them.
