Always looking for new ways to catch viewers and an idea is to repackage
Classic Drama into an ION format. Have watch my middle age daughter glued to
the ION format for shows like SVU, Chicago Fire, etc. I was thinking why not do
the same for Classic drama. So using the 3 hour block idea, make Mondays, Mr &
Mrs North, Tuesdays, Lawless Years, Wednesday, Dragnet, etc. Keeps the brain
from having to rethink characters with each show and makes them more personable
and a better chance of sticking to it.
Anyway, just a thought. Don’t know if that would work for comedy and there
does not seem to be enough Westerns for that.
As a group, instead of thinking viewers are going to watch whatever we throw
at them, I think we need to look at what is getting high rating and see if we
can emulate that. I feel the days of a mixture of everything are over. We need
to find the niches and work them with the idea that when other stations start
to do the same thing, we move to something else, i.e. retro TV shows. If you
are running the same networks and advertisers are not contacting you to
advertise, time to try something else till they start calling you. Maybe a
low-cost realtor channel 24/7 or video classifieds. A low-cost live show at the
local shopping center where people can see themselves on TV?

3ABN had an issue but I'm not in charge of that part so I won't hear about it
until morning.

Shouldn't be at 9:30am and not for at least 35 minutes.
It was something else, which is why I wondered if anyone else noticed it.
They were down when I first checked about 9:30 and came back up like normal
about 10:10.
Our issue happen at 2 different locations 50 miles apart with 4 different

Hi,
It could be the sun lining up behind the satellite. That happens in the Spring

Did anyone else have an issue with Galaxy 19 being down for over 30 minutes
around 9:30AM this morning (4/3/2022)?
JTV, QVC & SonLife were all down at 2 of our stations.
