I would suspect the video file. Broken time code is normal from videos
being edited. Where did the video come from and what do you use to re-encode
to fix audio levels and make sure there are no errors in the file?

Subject: [lptv] Masterplay question about No Time code or freeze in file
Hi,
I think my Masterplay system runs out of resources or the hard drive may be
getting ready to fail. I got the following error at 2AM this morning.
2021-07-29T01:59:44 002 No time code or freeze in file:
D:\Masterplay\Videos\ID_10sec.mp4 at Frame: 0 00:00:00;00 (300)
At the time Dish TV called to say the station was in black and woke me up.
I appreciate that Dish TV monitors my station. I play the ID all of the
time. I already set the cue next file[s] to -40. The ID played fine
subsequently. I will clean out any used files on the HDD. It has 221 GB
free and 1.5 TB used. The disk defragmenter runs every Wednesday morning at
2AM, but this was Thursday morning. There is 16 GB of RAM and 16 GM of
virtual memory. Should I increase the virtual memory more? Or, are there
any other settings to help improve the performance and keep this from
happening? I will make sure to close all unnecessary programs going
forward. I had the playlist editor open. I was using the segment editor
(the segment editor is now becoming my friend for dealing with shows with
segments and color bars at the beginning).
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Should I buy a new HDD? Is there a way
to easily duplicate the old HDD? Will Masterplay complain about being moved
to a new HDD? It isn't the main system disk, so maybe it will be okay.
