The sports commentating is being done by two sports guys from local radio
station WJRB 95.1 FM. For home games they are in the press box just to my
right. They have their own sound board (and Tieline system back at the
station), but I run their output into my Mackie as I switch to a shotgun mic
and nat sound for the halftime show (got to keep the band parents happy too) as
opposed to what the radio station is airing. The Mackie is a bit overkill for
this purpose, but I also use it with two headsets when I shoot sporting events
for the local college.

StreamDeck controller - it is a big improvement over the X-Keys as you have

Thanks Gil, Friday's live broadcast went really well, no problems streaming
to both YouTube and Facebook Live as well. I've been using two cameras
stacked together on a tripod - one for a wide shot, the other for closeups -
and the setup works pretty well. I'm switching shots using an El Gato
Streamdeck control surface attached to my left tripod arm. I can also
trigger my ATEM switcher to play commercial breaks, intros and graphics
using this device. It would be great to have a 2nd camera person and a
dedicated person doing switching, but sometimes you have to make it work
with a one man crew!!

sides for the away games if it looks like it's gonna rain. Some away press
box facilities don't have a place for us so we sometimes have to setup in
stands.
