Here’s an example. On the classic TV hard drive on the master play that
you sent me years ago the adventures of champion played fine. I haven’t
changed anything on it other than klite codec updates. So when I click on
that file to find out the frames per second it now says 23.97 in when it
plays a place in fast speed. If used to play find a couple years ago and it
saying Mr. play

As for your Masterplay, something has changed. It almost sound like it
is trying to play out the 23.97 (Film rate) at 29.97. Did you change video
cards or maybe the setting of the video card? Are you possibly running
other programs on the Masterplay and there is not enough memory for it to
change the 23.97 to 29.97?

This would create more in having to rename all your existing files. So, I
am not quite sure of the advantage.
On an unrelated note, I have noticed an issue with older files encoded
that now play either with audio issues or are speed up. Not sure if it is
a klite codec issue.
As you see mediainfo says file is 23.976 FPS. But when checking the
properties option it says 29.97FPS. This is on an older masterplay unit
that previously played the files fine.

put the length in the name of the video, it would change that into seconds.
The timer part of the program returns the length in hours, minutes,
seconds and thousandths of a second, such as “00:08:32.123”. So instead of
the videos saying “005A_Andy Griffith_Barneys First Car.mpg”, it would
change it to “005A_Andy Griffith_Barneys First Car^000821123.mpg”. Would
that be a big issue or would an operator rather wait the 5 minutes and not
touch the naming of a file.
