A 14x9 converter is a nice enhancement and compromise between 4x3 and 16x9 with
no additional effects.

One of our networks from Mexico, Nuestra Vision, adds “film” bars to old movies
so the original ratio can be preserved. It looks better than 4:3 or stretching.
Is there a good/ easy way to insert these vertical bars on other content with
4:3? The only way I can think of is to edit them in with Adobe premier. These
bars can be neutral like the film theme, can also be used to brand the station
or sold to advertisers.
