Summary of general meeting held October 8, 2014.
The meeting was called to order at 7 PM.
Board members present were: Kate Shumate, Fran Williams, Ken Sime, Sue Sime,
Terri Parker, and Judy Reifschneider. Also attending was Tonya Hughes, our
guest speaker from SRP. Absent were: Tom Belsan, Edythe Nedd and Ken Swensen.
The minutes were read by Kate Shumate and approved. The Treasurers report
showed a balance of $958.25 as of October 8..the report was approved.
Kate Shumate introduced Tonya Hughes from SRP. Miss Hughes showed different
light bulbs and the efficiency and money savings of each. She went over ways
to save on your electric bills, answered questions from the residents and had a
table of additional materials for everyone. The residents were pleased with
the presentation and information.
Kate announced there would be a representative from the Mesa Police Department
at our November meeting and asked everyone to attend. December would be the
picnic dinner and in January management will hold the Town Hall meeting. It is
important to attend the Town Hall meeting to ask management questions directly.
Refreshments were served to those attending.
Prizes were passed out by Sue Sime and Ethel Gibson. The 50/50 drawing was $27.
