Shreveport finally got some rain Thursday night and my yard had more 
butterflies than usual this morning.  So Vicki LeFevers and I went to Eddie D. 
Jones Park in Shreveport this(Friday) afternoon.  The liatris (liatris 
aspera?)was in full bloom and Gulf Fritillaries were everywhere.  We also saw 
more Dun Skippers than I have ever seen at one time. 29 species is the best 
I've seen in Shreveport for a very long time.
