This Thursday’s walk starts from the Peacock Inn at Cutthorpe
(www.thepeacockcutthorpe.co.uk<http://www.thepeacockcutthorpe.co.uk/>).
[Don’t get this mixed up with the Peacock at Barlow, this is the Peacock Inn at
CUTTHORPE]
The postcode is S42 7AS.
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map?X=433979&Y=373259&A=Y&Z=120
From Owler Bar, drive straight through Barlow towards Chesterfield. After about
a mile, take a right turn on to Cutthorpe Road, signposted Baslow, B6050. Go
through Cutthorpe village, and eventually you’ll see the Peacock on your left.
Drive through the main car park and park on the grassed area at the back.
It’s a while since we walked the duckboards at the end of the Linacre
reservoirs, so this is going to put that right. We’ll have coffee in (or
outside) the Peacock when we get back to the cars.
See you at 10.00.
Ian
