Hi Chaps,
Gordon was bemused when his first email about the last walk didn't appear in
his inbox. My understanding is that Gmail (unlike Outlook, for example)
"understands" mailing lists and suppresses emails that the user sent to
themselves via a mailing list.
Obviously, Gordon is not the only Gmail user. All Gmail users will experience
this behaviour.
This email is me checking the list does still send emails from me to me as I
chose when I set it up. I could have chosen the other setting but thought most
people would find the default behaviour more comforting.
On the subject of quirks: Bob and David Cooper have Yahoo addresses. Yahoo is
noted for not doing things correctly so their email addresses appear to contain
"no-reply". My experience is that replies to sender still work for them.
Thanks,
Peter
