For a stroll on Tuesday 8th, we can meet at grid reference approximately
SK193753. To get there, take the A623 up from Calver through Stoney Middleton,
then turn left just after the turnings to Foolow, and left again after about
half a mile. There isn't a proper parking place, but the road is wide and
straight and shouldn't be too busy.
The plan is to walk through Housley towards Foolow, then left to Stanley House
and down to Wardlow Mires for refreshments in the Yondermann café. The second
half of the walk is down the road to Wardlow and then across the fields back to
the start. (Or if we want the more traditional coffee at the end we could
complete the walk and drive to the café.)
