Having been to a Japanese *bonenkai *(Forget-the-year party) last night, at
which I and three other people were responsible for the demolition of a big
(1.8 liter) bottle of *shochu* (Japanese white lightning) and two very
large crabs, I am just now beginning to be sure that I will live a while
longer.

福 寿 康 宁 (good luck, long life, good health, tranquility) to all,

John
