Speaking for myself, I'm not interested in political debates with leftists any
more. On the other hand, if someone can actually enlighten me as to meaning of
Hegel's Phenomenology of the Mind (Spirit), or clarify Kant, I'd be interested.
The same goes for music. As to things along the line of much of the debate that
occurred on Phil-Lit, I'm not interested, and won't play those games anymore.

The remaining years of my life are too few to spend in activities that do not
give me pleasure, so I'm bowing out of contentious politics, and that probably
means that I will be just passing by.

On the other hand, I do try to be civil to people, and now that I'm retired and
we've got a bit of money I expect to travel a bit, so I am open to meetings IRL
and to hoisting a glass of wine, ouzo, absinthe, whisk(e)y, or other beverages.
We've just booked a flight and hotel in London from 9/5 through 9/19, so if
anyone wants to meet up, send me a private message, and we'll see if we can
work something out.

So I don't expect to become emotionally involved, as I was with Phil-Lit, or
Theoria, which is basically defunct.

"One god I can understand, but one wife? It is not generous.... It is not
civilized." Sheik Ilderim, Ben-Hur, 1959
