[lit-ideas] nature of the attempted virus transmittal

The virus was an email worm, so someone on the List may have a infected 
computer that is using their address book to send the worm to others on 
the list. Again I use this address only for Lit-ideas, so it most likely 
  derives from this group.

Just so you know what was sent here, it was W32.Netsky.P@mm aka 
W32.Netsky.Q@mm, W32/Netsky.p@MM [McAfee], Win32.Netsky.P [Computer 
Associates], NetSky.P [F-Secure], W32/Netsky.P.worm [Panda], 
W32/Netsky-P [Sophos], WORM_NETSKY.P
