[lit-ideas] how the net changes us

It's funny how the plethora of short forms on the Internet has changed the
way we think.

Today, I got a word-a-day email and the word was "soupcon". My initial
reaction in-the-head pronunciation was "soup Kon", as in a conference for
soup. There have been sillier things in this world. The times they are a
changin' -- as Robert DeNiro might say in France "Just a soupcon!"

p

p.s. Cat Stevens is guilty of something, but aren't we all.
p.p.s. my antitautology of the day is "pretty amazing"
