That and the fact that they were requiring any of the 'official' rescue people to go to Georgia FIRST to make sure that they all had their shots. There are vans/semis of people who have left and driven with loads of stuff from all over--from Minnesota to Chicago to Wash DC--and some little towns, even [like my friend in the 4000 person town--not knowing HOW they were going to get past the State Patrol but just hoping that by the time they arrive they could manage to help...
