Redux: Why is not slaughtering humans a sign of intelligence? Certainly not slaughtering humans is a sign of appropriate conditions for non-slaughtering and/or of a certain moral attitude that devalues slaughtering.

But intelligence? That's merely the ability to learn and understand. Leopold and Loeb were swift learners. Leopold spoke five languages.
