my peeps the teens
stuffed in bags
sleeping over on monty python marathon night
discuss things at full shout and scream
which i do not need to hear
who gave tongue to whom and so on
down in my lair i read a mystery
guarding absently
with beer at hand
those who lie liminally
between fantasy and reality
