It's interesting that people who are convinced of the existence of that
which can't be seen or empirically experienced, i.e., supernatural beings
such as God and the like, are so dead set against unconscious motivation. 
What is it that specifically bothers you about unconscious motivation?  In
the absence of unconscious motivation, how do you explain human behavior
Phil, when so much of it is counterintuitive and counterproductive?  Yeah,
it's a big question, but it's answerable.  I see this as much a
science/religion struggle as Darwinism/I.D. Likewise Eric.  You put this
down every time it's posted, but you don't offer anything in its place.
