I was having dinner at an Indian cardiologist's house. His votive area
included a representation of the eleventh incarnation of Vishnu. This
god was a rallying icon for Hindus who drove the Muslims from their area
of India. The Muslim invasion of India was accompanied by a genocide in
which the Muslims destroyed religious temples and shrines and murdered
hundreds of thousands of Hindus.
So when you look at the facts, India indeed has had many clashes of
civilizations.
