I sent an inquiry to a German car rental company. Two questions: what is the
charge for an extra driver and is there a charge for taking the car into
Austria?
The person at the other end answered the first question and then supplied
information about the cost of fuel.
I repeated the second question.
She responded: Dear David,
sorry, i read tanking :-)
To cross the border to Austria is possible without extra charge.
