<sigh> Okay -- I'll bite. (I'm really going to regret answering all my mail
tonight, in the morning.) Why Israel first ... of ALL.....?

No, I don't believe that more countries should have
nukes. I believe that less countries should have them.
This means first of all pressuring Israel to renounce
its nuclear weapons and programs, instead of assisting
it with them. It also means that the US and other NNPT
nuclear powers should be pressuring each other to
reduce and gradually eliminate their stockpiles, as
they have undertaken to do in the Treaty. But if they
are not prepared to do this, then I can't see how they
can, with any pretense of legality or fairness, deny
Iran or any other countries the right to pursue
nuclear weapons to balance and deter those of their
enemies. You can't have it both ways, that is what I
am saying.

O.K.
