A Scotsman once visited a young nephew in New York.
His nephew took him to a Yankees baseball game.
The Scotsman had a hard time understanding the rules.
At one point, the uncle was confused. "Yon batsman walked free ta base one
without hitting ta ball! How kin he do that?"
His nephew replied, "Uncle, the batter got four balls!"
His uncle stood and shouted, "Walk proudly, mon! Proudly!"
