Yes. The data on beliefs on Iraq and Al Qaeda (e.g.) in the US are very 
worrying indeed -- the data here show a totally opposite pattern of beliefs, 
and I cannot but think your media are somewhat culpable, the more liberal of 
your legislators, perhaps, too.

Yes -- perhaps I'm being unfair on your media: the structure of our press and 
TV helps too. I can walk into more or less any newsagent in the country 
(outside very rural areas) and see 10 national papers yelling their own case.

Yes it will. Because by then, if the revolt gets anything at all, it will get 
-- and people will settle for, most likely -- a "compromise" that "gives back"
