I had a professor in a Philosophy course who, at the end of my 25 page essay
simply put a 'B' with no comments throughout the entire paper.
I went to him and said "Well, how can I get a better mark?" And he said
"Write a better paper." My response was "Meaning what, precisely!" I never
got any kind of an answer. 19 years later, I still fondly remember him as an
obtuse asshole!
