Actually there's a case to be made that, as egotisms go, and if one ignores many of the bumps and yodels, it's not an unappealing egotism, with the kind of wiggle that has been known to wow Russian judges. Currently Ladbrokes have it at 15-1 to win midwestern regionals, and that's nothing like home ice for Mr. Yost. The great weakness, of course, is that blind spot when it comes to the glorious and really quite wonderful wotsits of the extremely well regarded Scottish fellow in where-is-that-now, Oregon. This is a blind spot that has not gone unnoted among the cognoscenti. Also those blind folk who give so much of their time to leading the blind, west of the Mississippi and east of Astoria.
