But of course THAT must be my favourite title -- the author was
mysteriously murdered. He had discovered the white-slave road.
Guedala's book is good -- but there are hundred others. Wilson has a good
one in the "Cities of the Imagination" series, which lists many other Anglo
writers who visited the City and what they thought about it. Isherwood, for
one, did not enjoy it. Etc.
