This sounds like the first third of Buddhism 101.  The second third
is that the way to extinguish that anger is to get rid your greed for
M & M's. The final third, as I understand it, is that the way to do 
that is to truly recognize that as a matter of ultimate reality
there are no independent things such as M & M's to be craved or one's 
self to do the craving.
