Imagine an optimistic future scenario. Nuclear proliferation
has resulted in air, land, and sea full of radioactive
isotopes from limited nuclear exchanges (Pakistan-India,
Burma-China, North Korea-Japan, just to guess three). Those
starving, genetically damaged survivors might wish we had
possessed the Draconian resolve to stop the nukefest now.
