I've got plenty of labels, Irene, and many I'm comfortable applying to myself. I understand why Leftists are upset with Lawrence's views (which I mostly share) but I don't see answers to my questions here. No one has called the ISG a Leftist group so please try and focus.

Are you trying to say that you are against labels?

Lawrence's only point is that every day in every way we're getting better and better, and don't anybody dare say we're not. It's much easier to throw words like Leftist and Liberal around than look at the situation in Iraq (which according to Lawrence is above criticism), and to wonder why those anti-American Leftists, Jim Baker, Lee Hamilton, Sandra Day O'Connor et al. proclaim it to be grave and deteriorating. They're just a bunch of Leftists, right Brian? And it really doesn't matter anyway. Throwing labels around is as effective as anything anybody is doing anyway or even that can be done at this point. So, got any nice labels you'd like to try out?
