What an awful thought, to write a poem, thinking it my own, and somehow have it
be a recollection of someone else’s poem. That wouldn’t be possible in this
case. I don’t recall a single poem of Hughes that I liked or admired. J

The mist settling on the leaves
Before the coming of summer?
