The GUBment is now setting the Jones's agenda to which we are to keep up or
feel bad about ourselves.

Mmm, how do you figure that?

Inquiring misanthropes want to know: Is the correct appellation misanthrope
or misanthropist?

A nagging question: do 'own' and 'have' here mean 'fully paid for' - or

do these things really (fully or partly) belong to the banks, credit

   credit for their purchase?

Hi,
That is a great question.
That's a great question for everyone. Who owns EVERYTHING outright that they
'own'? We all have debts except the fabulously wealthy, who actually probably
have fabulous debts. We buy toys that expand to suit what we make. The trouble
is... what used to be existence -- you know, the way good ole mum and dad lived
-- is now classified as "poverty" in most civilized nations. The GUBment is now
setting the Jones's agenda to which we are to keep up or feel bad about
ourselves.
