[lit-ideas] Texting and the flow of English

Is there an online chart with abbreviations. I assume that each language
has their own abbreviations, and I trust and know that whatever is
abbreviated is still "within the flow of the language". So:
"Hi Dolly" is a good thing in that "Hello, Dolly" echoes something
different. Oddly, I would use "Doll", rather than "Dolly" -- come to that.
